Cutting

Our in-house metal cutting can be accomplished with our computer controlled laser or water jet for cutting sheet and plate material into the desired flat components for any conveyor or devices being fabricated. Structural cutting is accomplished by use of cold saws, band saws or an iron worker.

Computer Control Water Jet Cutting

Cuts up to 6 inch thick mild steel
Cuts up to 3 inch D2 tool steel
Cuts up to 1 inch stainless steel
Cuts up to 2 inch 6061 aluminum
Cuts almost any material
Maximum size is 6 ft. x 10 ft.

Computer Control Laser Cutting

Cuts up to 1/2 inch mild steel
Cuts up to 1/4 inch stainless steel
Max sheet size is 5 ft. x 10 ft.

Shear

Shear up to 1/4 inch mild steel
Shear up to 3/16 inch stainless steel

Machining

Biehle Systems has the capabilities to produce custom machined parts by use of our CNC mill, manual knee Mill, lathe and other various pieces of machine tools at our disposal. Tolerances from .001-.005 can be held depending on the application.

Bending

The fabricating professionals in the Biehle Systems shop utilize our press brake to form the various shapes required for each project designs. The brake has the capabilities to bend up to ¼ inch mild steel 10 feet in length. Various dies can be utilized to bend to the desired radii along with the use of a hemming die to create the custom folded edge for covers and guards.
